 biois a partnership between two photographers, Amaris Granado and Thomas Slack. The two bring fashion and style to   traditional wedding photography.

Prior to settling into photography, Amaris studied fashion and painting at The Museum School in Boston. After living in New York for some time, she moved to Chicago to attend the School of the Art Institute.

She loves to travel and has spent time in Europe and Asia. Shooting for over ten years her work includes journalism, high-fashion, portraiture, and interiors.

Her clients include: Baker Furniture, TimeOut Chicago, Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, Raul Carrasco Miami, Bikram Yoga Chicago, Belvedere Vodka, and the Art Institute of Chicago.

Thomas Slack received his BFA in photography from the University of Michigan. During school he discovered his major influences while working with Ernestine Ruben in Santa Fe, and Lisa Steichman in Ann Arbor; both of which helped him develop his sense of color and form. Soon after graduation, he interned in New York and London for Vogue fashion photographer Mario Testino.

Thomas has worked as a professional photographer for nearly ten years. Now based out of Chicago, his trade allows him to travel all over the world, capturing life as it unfolds. He brings an unhindered sense of fashion to traditional wedding photography; adding intense color, glamour and beauty.
